Where to Claim Kentucky Lottery Prizes
Congratulations, you've won a Kentucky Lottery prize! What's next?
Sign the back of your winning ticket and keep it somewhere safe. It's a good idea to make a copy or take a clear photo of both sides of the ticket after signing it.
Keep an eye on the clock - you don't want to miss out by letting your ticket expire. Draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the date of the winning draw. Scratch-off prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the game's date of closure.

Prizes Up to $600
Here are your options for collecting a prize of up to $600:
- Mail your signed ticket to the lottery at the address below
- Visit a lottery retailer, who will usually be able to pay out up to $600
- If you played online, wins up to $600 will be automatically deposited into your account
Prizes Over $600
Here are the options to claim your prize above $600, depending on the amount:
- All prizes up to $99,999 may be claimed by mail. Other ways to claim are below.
- If you played online, you'll get an email with information on how to collect your win.
- Amounts over $600 and up to $5,000 can be claimed at:
- An authorized Cashing Agent or Super Cashing Agent
- Lexington Regional Office (temporarily closed)
- Tickets worth more than $5,000 and up to $25,000 may be redeemed at:
- An authorized Super Cashing Agent
- Lexington Regional Office (temporarily closed)

- If you've won over $25,000 through $99,999, claim at a lottery office:

Claim a Prize by Mail
Claims of up to $99,999 can be processed by mail. Keep a copy of your ticket and claim form and send the originals. Use registered or certified mail for tracking purposes. Send the following documents to the lottery at the address below:
- Signed winning ticket
- Completed Prize Claim form
- Copy of valid government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license

Prizes above $600 may normally be claimed at either the lottery's Louisville headquarters or the Lexington regional office. Currently, the Lexington office is temporarily closed. Claims over $5,000 may be made at the Louisville headquarters with an appointment.

Lottery Prize Taxes
When you win a Kentucky Lottery prize of $5,000 or above, a federal withholding tax of 25 percent and a Kentucky state tax of 5 percent will be deducted before the win is paid out.
